During this period, whiskies of different characteristics are closely integrated, resulting in a harmonious delicacy. Whiskey is usually adjusted to about 40% to 45% alcohol by adding water before bottling, NIKKA FROM THE BARREL keeps water to a minimum at 51% alcohol, giving this whisky a rich, subtle aroma and smell. Tasting Notes Color: Maltose, Amber Aroma: When the bottle is just opened, the aroma is covered by the wine smell, and after a while, there is a hint of vanilla and orange. Flavor: Sweet, caramelized, with a hint of peat, with a long mint and fruity finish.
